Beginner Skateboarding: Experience the joy and challenge of skateboarding in a safe environment with a certified instructor! No experience necessary. Join us for a beginner skateboarding program that balances new skills, supervised practice*, and creative games and challenges! Helmets are required for this program! We strongly encourage participants to bring additional safety pads (wrist, elbow, knee) with them and a labeled reusable water bottle with them. Skateboards will be available to borrow, free of charge! Our programs offer expert instruction in putting, chipping, pitching, and full swings, ideal for young athletes eager to master golf. Start a rewarding journey in the world of golf with us!  Parent participation is required. This program is for children 3 to 5 years of age. GolfTots will run on Monday afternoons at Anderson Farm Park.Beginner Golf: Skyhawks Beginner Golf is powered by Payne Stewart Golf Experiences, the recommended entry level golf program for PGA Junior Golf Camps. The unique, games-based play program and modified learning equipment make it easier for kids to hit the ball and experience early success. Putting, chipping, pitching and full swing, are all taught through games, simple repetitive motions and learning rhymes that make it easy for young kids to remember and repeat. Specially designed, age-appropriate golf equipment is provided. These classes focus on developing motor skills and baseball basics like throwing, catching, hitting, and running. It’s all about fun, skill development, and creating memorable moments. BaseballTots fosters a love for baseball from the start! Parent participation required for ages 1.5 to 3. Classes will run Tuesday afternoons at Anderson Farm Park. This exciting class is designed for little explorers to develop fundamental motor and athletic skills through fun, non-sport-specific games. Each child will wear a dinosaur mask and tail, bringing their prehistoric adventures to life as they run, jump, and play in a dynamic, imagination-fueled environment. Our engaging activities focus on balance, coordination, and teamwork, all while fostering a love for movement and active play. Let your little one unleash their inner dinosaur and build essential skills in this one-of-a-kind adventure!  Parent participation required for ages 1.5 to 3. There are two different sessions: ages 1.5 to 3 and ages 4 to 6. This program will take place at Anderson Farm Park.

The goal of these programs are to teach the fundamentals of Ballet, Jazz, and Hip Hop to the children in a light hearted, fun way. During our dance program, dancers will learn one number to perform at the recital on Friday, Nov. 21st. Rehearsal will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 19th in the evening. All costumes are included in the registration fee. Pink Ballet Slippers are required for class. You can purchase these on Amazon or check our donated supplies. If you have old shoes that you are no longer using and would like to donate them to the center, that would be greatly appreciated. Grab your dancing shoes and join us for a fun dance program at the Community Center! We offer several programs with a variety of instructors. The goal of these programs are to teach the fundamentals of Ballet, Jazz, and Hip Hop to the children in a light hearted, fun way. During our dance program, dancers will learn one number to perform at the recital on Friday, Nov. 21st. Rehearsal will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 19th in the evening. All costumes are included in the registration fee. Pink Ballet Slippers are required for class. Come learn different ways on how to improve your strength and stability in this 45 minute session. We will be focusing on abdominal muscles with some upper body and lower body incorporated as well. Strengthening this area will help decrease pain, improve balance, posture, and just make everyday life activities easier. Each class will be slightly different, but we will be doing exercises in a chair and standing. Grab your dancing shoes and join us for a fun dance program at the Community Center! We offer several programs with a variety of instructors. The goal of these programs are to teach the fundamentals of Ballet, Jazz, and Hip Hop to the children in a light hearted, fun way. During our dance program, dancers will learn one number to perform at the recital on Friday, Nov. 21st. Rehearsal will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 19th in the evening. All costumes are included in the registration fee. Pink Ballet Slippers are required for class. You can purchase these on Amazon or check our donated supplies. If you have old shoes that you are no longer using and would like to donate them to the center, that would be greatly appreciated. Please drop them off at the center during regular business hours.Classes are offered on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays at the Center.
