Upper Providence Township Parks & Recreation is proud to partner with PV250 to offer a series of free summer historical events designed for families and community members of all ages. These engaging programs provide a fun and meaningful opportunity to explore local history, celebrate our shared heritage, and create lasting memories together throughout the summer.
Story Trail at Anderson Farm Park
Enjoy a story while exploring the outdoors on the Anderson Farm Park Story Trail, developed by Perkiomen Valley 250. Beginning at the playground parking lot, follow the trail across the stream and toward the amphitheater, stopping at 15 signs along the way to read a page of the featured book.
The Story Trail combines reading, movement, and nature, creating a fun experience for children and families. To celebrate America's 250th anniversary, the current featured book is Betsy Ross by Becky White. New books will be installed every three months, giving visitors a reason to return throughout the year for a new story and adventure.
